Happy Ending – Short Novel

Maya lay on her stomach, eyes gently closed after a long and exhausting day. The room was quiet, filled only with the slow, steady rhythm of her breathing.

“Honey…” she said softly, her voice gentler than usual, almost surrendering.“Would it be okay if I asked you to give me a little back massage?”

Yehuda didn’t answer right away. He simply smiled to himself, as if he had been waiting for this moment all day.

“For you? Always.”

He moved closer, kneeling beside her.

When his hands touched her back, the contact was warm, broad, so encompassing that it drew a soft, involuntary sigh from her lips.

“Wow…” she whispered. “You’ve barely started, and it already feels different.”

His hands moved slowly, confidently, as though he instinctively knew exactly where she needed him. Each motion carried presence, not just technique, but genuine attention.

Maya smiled into the pillow, then opened her eyes halfway and glanced back at him.

“I have to say something…”

“I’m emotionally prepared,” he replied, continuing gently.
