My Brain & My Other Brain

The night before started like all bad decisions do - with confidence.
“Just one episode,” Maya said.
Yehuda nodded. Of course he nodded. That’s his role in the relationship - believe things that are obviously not true.
Three episodes later…
“This is the last one,” Maya said.
“This is not the last one,” Yehuda replied. “This is the episode that emotionally prepares us for the last one.”
“So… one more?”
“Obviously.”
And then they hit that weird late-night phase…where nobody is actually watching the show anymore, but nobody is willing to admit it.
Maya was already leaning on him. Yehuda was half asleep. The TV was basically talking to itself.
“Let’s go to sleep,” she said.
“Yeah… sure…” he replied, like he controls the decisions...
Cut. Morning.
“Good morning, handsome!”
Yehuda opens one eye.
Just one. This is not a full commitment situation. This is a recon mission.
And then...
Boom.
Maya stretches next to him. Messy hair. Soft smile. Body waking up slow…
And her chest - bare, round, unapologetically present, like it clocked in for work before everyone else.
Yehuda freezes.
Not moves. No breath. System shutdown.
And inside his head?
Absolute chaos.
Internal Emergency Meeting:
Brain (Head Office): Alright! Everybody calm down! It’s morning! We are civilized human beings!
Heart: Civilized?! DID YOU SEE THAT?! This is not morning — this is an EVENT!
Brain: This is not an event. This is a RELATIONSHIP.
Heart: Then why do I feel like we just won something?!
And then…
A third voice.
Confident. Dangerous.
The Other Brain (Downstairs Department): Guys… stop talking. We’re already in motion.
Brain: I did NOT authorize you!
Other Brain: You don’t authorize me. I am the situation.
Heart: I support him.
Brain: Of course you do! You support chaos!
